What is your style of photography?
Photojournalism
What is photojournalism?
Photojournalism is a style of photography that documents people
and events in a natural state, thus many of the photos taken are candid
and usually not directed. This makes for natural-looking
photographs that capture true moments with great feeling.
Do you use film or digital?
We shoot exclusively in digital format with professional cameras and lenses.
We feel that this format is very flexible and of high quality in color and detail.
It gives us the ability to work as quickly and accurately as possible. We can
also insure that we are capturing some of the most crucial shots by checking
photographs after they are taken. Shooting digitally will also offer greater
flexibility by giving you the ability to choose how the pictures will be printed.
Pictures can be printed in full color, black & white, sepia tone, color tinted,
and "hand colored".
What is online Proofing & do you use it?
Our services will always include full online proofing that displays the
photographs of your entire wedding day on a website which is easily accessible through a link
on this site. You, as well as friends and relatives, can easily view your pictures and place
reprint orders directly online and have prints shipped right to your door anywhere in the U.S.A.
How do you typically dress for events?
In order to best fit in with the formal attire of your event, and to maintain
the highest professionalism, we will be dressed in a full black suit and tie.
Do you visit the ceremony/reception site before the event date?
Yes, if we are not already familiar with the site, we will visit it before
the event date. We do this to be sure that we are familiar with all the areas of your
location and we also look for areas where the best photographs can be taken.
Can you photograph specific things that we request?
Of course. We will always do our best to accommodate your wishes
and take any type of shots that may be important to you. This could include
detail shots, specific group shots, or anything else that you would like
us to create an image of.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, we will carry at least one backup for each piece of equipment to insure that
malfunctions will not affect the quality or outcome of the photography.
